About Organization

The National Social Justice and Human Rights Commission (NSJHRC) is a government-approved, non-profit, voluntary organization registered under the Indian Trusts Act, 1882 and recognized by NITI Aayog, Government of India. It is also an ISO 9001:2015 certified body.

The organization is dedicated to promoting justice, equality, liberty, and fraternity among all citizens, irrespective of caste, creed, gender, or religion. It works for the protection of human rights, upliftment of marginalized communities, eradication of social evils, legal awareness, and socio-economic development.

NSJHRC engages in activities like legal aid, counseling, education, awareness campaigns, capacity building, training, health programs, and advocacy for policy changes. The Commission collaborates with government bodies, NGOs, and civil society to ensure justice and human dignity for all.

The primary aim of the organization is to establish a just and equitable society, safeguarding the fundamental rights enshrined in the Constitution of India.

The idea behind the establishment of the National Social Justice and Human Rights Commission (NSJHRC) was to bring together like-minded people committed to the cause of social justice, equality, liberty, and fraternity. Our vision is to create a society where every citizen enjoys dignity, rights, and equal opportunities irrespective of caste, creed, religion, or gender.

Since its inception, NSJHRC has been working tirelessly in areas of human rights protection, social reforms, legal aid, education, and empowerment of marginalized communities. We firmly believe that only through collective efforts can we eradicate injustice and ensure a fair society for future generations.

They are dedicated to addressing and eliminating discrimination in all forms, ensuring that every individual has equal access to justice, liberty, and dignity. Our Philosophy:

Every human being is born free and deserves human rights and liberty. ​ Participatory analysis of the state of affairs and needs estimation under the motto of "by the people for the people." ​

Any discrimination in name of religion, caste, race, economic & physical status of an individual is a crime against humanity. ​

Individuals possess immense potential and ability to resolve their problems. ​

Deprived people/groups deserve empathy from the state and well-off individuals and organizations. ​

Participation and consensus building are two important wheels of community development. ​

Silence to environmental concern by an individual or society is injustice to our coming generation, and all acts of community development should be weighed against strict environmental health parameters. ​

Change is inevitable, and people deserve knowledge and skill to cope with change. ​

Technical know-how should be compatible with local resources and need of the people.
